The machine determines the component design

The innovative drive technology of Baumüller guarantees new standards which take into account and integrate special requirements into the respective machine type. Baumüller is always able to develop drives with the highest power density & dynamic response, and always customized to the specifications of the machine. The machine determines the motor design.

Components - the basis Synchronous and asynchronous motors can be designed with varying degrees of protection. Even special designs involving fluid cooling or hollow shafts can be made depending on the requirements.   The power densities reached for DC and AC motors are identical. A DC motor can easily be replaced by an AC motor with the shaft height remaining the same.
